stillborn baby born in scotland not enough cold cots to go round
how sad to have a baby born stillborn and there are only a very few cold cots in Glassgow. do you think it would be a good idea to try raise some funds to buy one or more for the hospitals in and around Scotland thanks ?
advice given ... that is a wonderful idea for a mum, dad and close family to spend extra time with their baby after delivery these cold cots keep the babies nice and cool until the family say the undertaker can take them to the funeral home to be prepared for the funeral service. it means they do not have to rush off soon after delivery having only a brief amount of time for family cuddles with their baby that sadly died at birth.
Cold cots cost around £1700 to keep babies cool that have sadly died. You could maybe team up with some other parents who have lost their baby to be a joint effort. you could join some baby loss groups on facebook , youlll meet other mums in the same position who have suffered the loss of a baby and by making new contacts can would together to come up with fund raising ideas. Paypal and go fund me are an easy ways to set up an account, for all the money to be paid into until you have enough to buy a cold cot. by telling the local newspaper about your cause local business may want to help and come on board too.
